There is something very wrong with the world that we are made to see around us. Human Society is not happy, there is
protest, discontentment, poverty, inequality, greed, corruption, Ego, Fanatics’, Agnostics’, natural calamities occurring with frightening regularity and above all Global terrorism which just does not want to call it a day.In short there is chaos everywhere. One word that can describe all this is “Qayamat”. In Jamasphi” and at many places in our Zoroastrian scriptures like“Chithrem Buyaat” prayers, it is mentioned that time is near for Shah Behram Varjawand our Saviour to come in this Qayamat and revive us and our Deen. The Saviours from other religions will also appear and will work together with a common goal for grooming mankind and his spiritual revival.
The Western Astrology call this as Aquarian age and phenomenon that we see today are occuring with lightening quickness. For we never knew that Communist USSR will disintegrate one day and fragment into many small nations, that Germany will one day be united, the revolution in Egypt, Syria, the fall of dictators, and China a sleeping giant awakening to technological boom are all an indicator that we are very much in this Aquarian age. The transition from the Age of Pisces to Aquarian Age is already taking its toll till we roll into Age of peace and calm. We are looking forward to being Optimistic and not being fatally Pessimists. More than 100 years before in past when faith was at its lowest Nadir in our community without caring for deep religious significance when there was idle talks about futility of our time tested customs like Dokhmenashini, Rituals, Sudreh Kusti being only a symbol, Avesta Manthra prayers being considered as waste of time, faulty myopic thinking that offerings of sandalwood to Atash Padshah being waste of sound monetary resources which could have been better utilized for betterment of our community, lack of faith was the reason behind these ignorance’s. Ignorance coupled with arrogance was, and still is the main reason stymieing our spiritual progress.
The Zoroastrian hidden Masters in Demavand who are very much concerned about our community’s spiritual progress saw the need of sending a forerunner before the advent of Shah Behram Varjawand Saheb, and they chose Behramshah Nawroji Shroff whom his followers lovingly call him as Ustad Saheb. He brought amongst us Zoroastrian Mysticism called as Zarathosti Ilme-Khshnoom.
The word Khshnoom can be found even in our scriptures, so it is not something alien that is thrust on us. It is the revival of the lost knowledge called as Ilme-Khshnoom that our forefathers had with them that kept the flame of faith burning in their hearts, that Ustad saheb brought for us. The literature is penned down by his chosen and authorized disciples late Dr. Saheb Faramroze Sohrabji Chiniwala, and Late Jehangirji S. Chinwala.
Late Ervad Phiroze Shapurji Masani had for so many years maintained his publication “Frashogard” all under guidance of Ustad Saheb. Today we see that day by day our faith is again going downhill. The need of Saviour can only be felt when all seems to be lost towards Traditional cause. It is to rekindle that hope and faith and iron out unwarranted fear of our religion dying a premature death that this Blog will be looking forward to. The aim for starting this Blog is to translate the majority of Khshnoom literature that is in Gujarati writings of Late Chiniwala brothers and Late Phiroze Masani for the benefit of those genuinely interested in Zoroastrian Mysticism .
When there is too much of chaos nature allows it only up to a certain threshold limit, once it crosses the limits it puts a
full stop to it, for nature has its own ways of bringing Order out of Chaos.
So in mean time what are we Zarathosti Bastekustian supposed to do that will hasten the advent of Shah Behram Varjawand Saheb ? Are we supposed to look skywards and wait for him eternally ? His advent will much depend upon us also.
In nature there is a law of “Supply and Demand”. If the demand is there, supply is guaranteed. In Bible it is said that "Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you will find it, knock and the doors will open to you." ….. Mathew 7:7 Niv. Unfortunately the much needed knock never seems to happen and everybody is busy enjoying their fun filled moments and warns us to keep off limits of their rights and Freedom. But they seem to forget that behind every right that one asks for, there is a responsibility which is conveniently forgotten.
"RTI" also known as "Right to information"is blatantly misused in today's world of so called Freedom . Some want Freedom to enjoy whatever is appealing to them, but is considered as Taboo in Society. Not before all these false ideology will be swept away by fury of nature and realization of folly will dawn naturally aftermath,nevertheless too late by then, but the road will be paved for introducing Shah Behram Varjawand to the world.
In middle of face-off between two warring sides and Chaos, we will come to know the time of Varjawand Saheb's arrival automatically. As a Mother knows intuitively the time of delivery of the baby, we will feel the desperate pangs of labour like a Mother feels before her delivery.
Right now only a few are longing for his arrival but just as "A lone sparrow does not herald a spring" similarly one requires a collective thought force to set everything in motion. For that I had started a short exercise every 7.30 a.m. in morning but unfortunately we don’t seem to realize its importance. Till we are all vibrating with one frequency, other word is called as Hum Mithra, Varjawand Saheb’s advent will be a distant dream only. The exercise is as under to be followed by a Mithra every 7 a.m. or around that time frame. No need to be very rigid about time. The Mithra is as under:-
What is Hum Mithra:-
Man proposes and God disposes. Hence we requires Dadar Ahura Mazda’s blessings all the time for success and that is known as “Daham Afriti”. Without it we cannot move forward even an inch. But for his Daham Afriti to be assessable to us we require to think with one vibration in Hamoi, only then can we succeed in our purpose. Dadar Ahura Mazda is not happy when there is infighting so how can we receive his Daham Afreeti. This one thought force having selfless single pure vibration is known as Hum Mithra. The Law of cause and effect governs this universe so whatever incidents we see bad or good its cause has to be there. Every action has its reaction. The bad precedent that we are facing now after a crematorium is announced in Worli where innocent public are falling prey to it. Those encouraging Aramgah and such ashmogi are themselves the victims of their own deeds so we have to pity them instead of contempt for them and a calming thought has to be passed by us at a particular time collectively. If love is the language of angels then why should we be harsh to even our so called enemies. For in life there are no enemies, and everything is Karmic. The Bhali Dua is as under:-

Those ignorant brothers and sisters opposing our age old customs of Dokhmenashini and believe in universality of our religion by inviting all to our holy places and Iranshah need our pity and not contempt for they are bitten by the demon of ignorance and arrogance. O Paak Dadar Ahura Mazda shower your choicest blessings upon them that they regain their lost faith and begin realizing that the true nature of religion is humility.
"Let no harm come upon the Traditional Zoroastrian flag and its values which are so dear to us. Let the reformists agenda and their nefarious plans never succeed. Let no harm befall upon Pavmahal of India that is - our Iranshah of Udwada and all Atash Behram, Atash Adran and Dadgah of India. Let not one day pass without Atash Parasti and our reverence towards Holy consecrated Fire(Pavmahal),Dokhmas, Sudreh Kusti, Mathravani which acts as a weapon to thwart evil. Enable us to protect our racial traits of Parsi Panu through Boonak Pasbani. Enable us to maintain our true “Zarathosti Khandani” by not intermarrying and continue with our Aryan Lineage intact. May the advent of Shah Behram Varjawand come soon, and before him may his forerunners arrive at the earliest and grant us spiritual strength to withstand evil around us. Let my Kusti Padiav and my Tarikats be helpful to nature to fight for the cause of righteousness against the evil negative forces of Drujis, and may it protect us all Zarathustis and entire humanity who live by their religion and its tenets. "Spiritual Intelligence the Ultimate Intelligence" By Danah Zohar and Ian Marshall.
Very briefly the book says that as psychologists discovered ways and means to measure intelligence, Aristotle’s definition of man as a rational animal developed into an obsession with IQ. To be more specific the author says that there are three kind of thinking and three kind of intelligence (IQ) attached with it. They are 1) IQ - or Intellectual or Rational Intelligence 2) EQ- Emotional Intelligence 3) SQ- Spiritual Intelligence.
The theory went before that the higher a person's IQ the higher the intelligence, because by disciplined thinking he is exercising his brain to function more effectively and efficiently. With IQ the Intellect is used by rationally trying to reason with our intelligence only that which is visible with our eyes, and heard with our ears and by making use of our five senses. But by mid 1990 Daniel Goleman popularized research that EQ or Emotional Intelligence is of equal importance. EQ gives us awareness of our own and other people's feelings. It gives us empathy, compassion, motivation, and the ability to respond appropriately to pain and pleasure. As Goleman pointed out that EQ is basic requirement for effective use of IQ. If the Brain area with which we feel is damaged, we think less effectively. A very good example is when we are very angry we cease to think momentarily that is why it is called as blind rage. What does not change is the spiritual Intelligence known as SQ for it remains ineffective of the emotional storms which our mind so often plunges into it whether voluntarily or involuntarily. One needn't be high on IQ or SQ to be high in EQ. One could be high in IQ but low in both EQ and SQ, and so on.
Three Psychological Process:-
The whole of Western Psychology rest on two processes- IQ, and EQ. The SQ is the third process calling for expansion of psychology as a science. Sigmund Freud initially defines the two process as primary and secondary. Primary process is associated with the body, its id, the emotion, instinct, The secondary process is associated with the EGO with the big "I" which is on the whole logical, rational, and linear.
As shown by the author and which can be seen from scientific structure of brain that he has explained he adds further that there is third process or third kind of thinking- the unitive all encompassing thinking, to be known as Tertiary process. These three processes can be linked to three kind of thinking of the brain which can be represented by three concentric circles of the human mind.
The outer layer of concentric circle is the secondary process - the rational - the Logical - EGO - IQ
The middle layer of concentric circle is the primary process- Associated with body - its id - Emotion - EQ
The core centre layer of concentric circle -is the third tertiary process- Integrative - Higher self - Coherent - SQ
If we let go our EGO, than all our emotions dissolve and merge into the higher self and that is called as spiritual intelligence known in our Zoroastrian religion and in avesta/Pazand as Asneh Kherad or Hosh.
We do not require worldly academic intelligence or Engineering Degree but divine intelligence known as Asneh Kherad to know the sublime truths so cleverly camoflaged in mere external meanings of our scriptures.

The indications of highly developed SQ - Spiritual Intelligence include :-
1) The capacity to be flexible
2) A higher degree of self awareness.
3) A capacity to face and use suffering.
4) A capacity to face and transcend pain.
5)The quality of being inspired by vision and values.
6) Reluctance to cause unnecessary harm.
7) The tendency to see the connections between diverse things (being Holistic).
8)A marked tendency to ask "Why" or 'what if " questions and to seek "Fundamental Truth" answers, and not merely to ask question for the sake of asking or to show off and brag.
9) A servant leader for bringing higher vision and value to others.

Persian mystical poet and Sufi saint Jalaluddin Rumi writes about pure love we can achieve, beyond ego, in the soul’s divine longing and ecstasy of union with God.
Oh how we love to grieve, how we love to read romantic tragedies of breaking of our hearts, We even read books about how important the grieving process is to our recovery, and then we go to identify grief as a necessary stage of sorrow that we experience to overcome our losses and regain our sanity. Jalaluddin Rumi, a thirteenth-century Persian mystical poet, sends a message from the middle Ages. He suggests that grief is a blessing, rather than something to tolerate as a necessary evil on the way to recovery. It is not sorrowful at all, but instead it is an opportunity to drink nectar that is available in the dark moments of our lives.For most of us, grieving is how we react to a loss or a tragic event , and it seems to be a natural way of reacting to the experiment in our lives. But if we knew the wisdom of Rumi's words, we might be able to shift right in the middle of this grieving and turn our sorrow into something sweet-tasting.
One of the Universal teachings of life can also be found in the Kabbalah, a mystical text of Judaism that goes back many centuries as do Rumi's teachings. The simple lesson for us is “The falls of our life provide us with the energy to propel ourselves to a higher level." You have to ponder and ponder on this ancient wisdom to understand its deep import properly. As we allow to soothe the sharp anguish of life's painful moments, one begins to incorporate this wisdom during the sadness and grief. We than discover the truth of this idea that every fall provides us the opportunity to generate the necessary energy to move to higher consciousness. Every sinking into despair has within it an energy to move us higher. How many times in our life have dark times of despair, such as some kind of an accident, an illness, a financial disaster, a breakup in a relationship, a fire or flood, a loss of property or a death propelled us into the stages of anguish, anger, denial, and then grief ? Like most of us, you sink into sorrow and feel the need to tell everyone about your misfortune. Ultimately, after a Iong period of time you begin to rise above it and reach the state of acceptance.
Now suppose you knew that what had taken place in your life which you termed a loss or a fall was exactly what was supposed to happen? Suppose you knew instantly that you had to experience the event that triggered your grief and sorrow? Then suppose you could choose to act in accordance with this new awareness? Undoubtedly this "supposing" conflicts with all you have been taught about how you're supposed to react to catastrophe and death. I am not suggesting you not to respect genuine feelings. I am suggesting that the truth of Rumi’s observations offer you another way of responding to these kind of circumstances. I am encouraging you to open to gift or sweetness that is also in the sorrow.
This is an highly holistic intelligent system that we are all an inseparable part of and there are no accidents. There is something to learn right here, right now in the middle of sorrow. You can take this lesson and taste the sweet certainty in the mystery. You do not have to pretend to like the tragedy, only to vow to use it to generate the energy to move to a higher place in your life. You could call out to your sorrow just as Rumi did over eight hundred years ago and say to yourself, "It tastes sweet, does it not ?” That is there is something to learn right here, right now in the middle of this sweet sorrow, and I am going to drink it in this manner, and ruin the business of the grief peddlers.
In what we refer to as primitive societies death is an occasion for celebration. There is a basic knowing even in the times of grief and mourning , that does not question the divine timing of each one’s arrival here on earth, or the divine timing of one's departure either. It is all in order! Perhaps the comfort is the sweetness of seeing that it is all part of the perfection of our universe, which has an invisible organizing intelligence flowing through every cell of creation, including the many painful experiences over a lifetime -- then celebrating it all.
If you happen to watch Athletes on TV during Olympics their high jump in slow motion, you observe that first they set the bar on the stands, take a position thirty to fifty feet back, sprint fast towards the bar, and get down as low as possible to generate the added energy to propel their entire body over the bar. By getting down low we receive the necessary whiplash Fulcrum for ascending higher. This slow motion image of Act of high jump is analogous with the message of Rumi, and Kaballa. It is a common physical law of gravity, which holds good for us spiritually too.

Change means Nisti, Permanency or immortality means Hasti, when Nisti will merge with Hasti that will be Farshokereti a very far off event which is destined to occur, for which this divine stage of this mortal world is erected. The origin of evil will be known to us at Farsho Kereti, when each and every one of us has utilized to their maximum capacity their divine potentiality which was lying dormant within and have become a realized souls. There is no point in arguing endlessly now at this stage the Origin of evil, when we are supposed to concentrate on Keshash now.
"Kshato Manao" as mentioned in our Hoshbam prayers is a spiritual stage we should all strive to acheive for, which literally means a happy contended mind, free from any worries or hassels, keeping faith in God knowing fully well that whatever happens whether good or bad is ultimately in our interest only for there is a lesson to be learnt in every incident that happens to us, and there is no accident as God does not play dice with us. "Az anay Khorsand Hom" also means same thing - Thy will (and not mine) will be done.
Are all Religions same ? :-
I am aware that not many are comfortable when i make references from holy books of other religion like Bible, Kaballah as they feel that whilst i quote from these books i am only digressing their attention from main teachings propounded in Zoroastrianism. But my dear friends you fail to realize the important fact that "Truth is one only", and so it is but natural that whether you look at Gita, Bible, Kaballah, Koran, Sufism or Khordeh Avesta we will find same truths reflected in all these revealed books of the great religions of the world. But then what is it that differentiates one religion from other and why is there any need for different Religions to co exist side by side when we can do away with various Religions and have only one Universal Religion in the world, since truth is one only. This is because of another important truth existing in nature which Shakespeare with his highly developed spiritual sense and command over language was able to pinpoint to us in his two plays :-
An honest soul, i'faith sir, by my troth he is, as ever broke bread: but god is to be worshipped All Man are not alike, - alas, good neighbour !

When even brothers are not alike how do we expect the whole race of humanity to be similar in outlook, in disposition and character, when there is is multipilcity, variety of human nature every where, and there are even exceptions to this multiplicity. In nature there are fish that can fly and birds that can swim. Let it be very clear to us that all Religions are not man made at all, but all religions lead to one divine truth because there is difference in humans its followers and not in the primeaval truth of the religion which always works in unision in Hamoi to each other. Now what is the Perenial truth ? That we are incomplete, ignorant and the degree of ignorance varies from one individual to other individual. Just like in a radio having different wave length of short wave, medium wave, FM,AM, we can tune in to several stations on one wave length, similarly there are five different wave lengths represented by 5 great religions of the world. Each wave length having multitudes of stations or its followers. That is the crux and real purpose of all the religions, that we understand that all religion are good in its own place and there is no conversion in nature. Conversion has to come from within, from evil to good. Since religion is not manmade and is made by God, it is not within our human capacity to choose whatever religion we fancy. One has to be born in that religion to practice it.

Ignorance of our Deen and its Repercussions By Late Jehangirji Sohrabji Chiniwala
Reformists advocating mixed marriage and Navjote of offspring from mixed marriage and in favour of crematorium display scant respect for the tenets and Farmans of our Zarathusti Deen and their ignorance is apparently visible.
The present academic studies does not give full justice in understanding our religion as it is unable to grasp the microscopic fundamentals teachings of our deen which are subtler than a width of thinnest hair.
The key of ilmeKhshnoom is required for deciphering our Zarathusti deen. Ustad saheb Behramshah Nowroji Shroff who brought the fountain of ImeKhshnoom for the Parsi community had said in Gujarati that " More nachi nachi ne potana pag taraf joi ne chevateh rade" translates that a peacock keeps on dancing admiring its feet and ultimately cries in the end. Similarly the reformists who take pleasure in denigrating our long held traditions of our deen are on path of imminent destruction.
Whatever is the destiny of our Parsi community will happen in future evidently and there is no stopping to it, but our Parsi Community who remains true to its religion and Zarathosti deen itself will remain protected by unseen hand. Whenever a Community, a Country and its population is collectively destined to make progress than several means appear at their disposal for achieving its goal. Similarly when a Community, Country and its population are destined to digress than such means or Marefat appears as an obstacle to them. These are the laws governing nature and are immutable. The planetary movement depends upon the Manashni and karma of humans and the planets thereby move in a manner which affects humans accordingly. This is the nature's "Law of Justice and limit".
Ustad saheb had disclosed that Karma or Keshash are of two kinds 1) Individual Keshash 2) Collective Keshash of a community and he had right from beginning impressed upon the minds of its pupils that karma or keshahsh is a closed chapter and he cannot disclose what kind of retribution befalls upon a person for the nature of his past deeds. But he had disclosed that in Patet Pashemani prayers there are four kinds of Sins mentioned and they are as under:- 1) Margarzan Gunah 2) Farodmanad Gunah 3) Maninad gunah 4) Ajeh Gunah. As per philological translation Margarjan Gunah means type of Sins committed requiring Capital punishment, but as per ilmekhshnoom it means Sins which requires a soul to reincarnate again on this earth.
Some of our scholars who have done their studies as per western studies refuse to accept this vital basic truth of Reincarnation and believe that there is no Reincarnation in our Zarathusti deen. But this is considered as blasphemous and an insult to our religion and its true teachings. As per our religion if a Zarathusti follows and treads upon golden path of Tarikaats than there is no Reincarnation further for us as all our Keshash is finished in one Reincarnation.
There is reference in our scriptures which say that Chinvaat Pool becomes broad or narrow depending upon the karma of that soul who passes it. Narrowing of bridge will not allow the soul to cross it and thus he falls back or reincarnates back on this earth. Where as if a soul easily passes a broad bridge for him no reincarnation is required. A soul who has to reincarnate is due to his Margarzan Sins which literally means to fall prey to death (Marg + ar-zan).
As per Ustad saheb we today's Parsee Zarathostis comes in the category of the "Masdiyasni Zarathosti Dravand" which means that although we are followers of Masdiyasni Zarathosti deen but we are Dravands who do not understand path of Ashoi as shown in our religion, or even if one understands it at all, still are unable to put tarikaats of Ashoi in practice due to us entangled in our own web of Keshash which we have ourselves created.
Ustad Saheb has further said that a Mazdiyasni Zarathosti can lead his life in three ways and the least way or the third way of leading it is by practicing Ashoi and side by side paying its dues of our Margarzan life honestly. For him there is no reincarnation. This is the mercy shown by the almighty to us. There are other lower stages of leading our life and they are called as "Khuri" and "Daeye" and there is no reincarnation if we follow it. The other Gunah called as Farodmanand , Manideh and Azeh Gunah can be taken care of in present life incarnation or it can extend up to next incarnation which is the last incarnation for us.

Iran Parasti By Late Jehangirji S Chiniwala (Original article in Gujarati)
I have a strong belief that only those who are deen parast can become Iran Parast. The downfall of Zarathusti Iran compelled the pious Zarathusti Abeds to retreat into the abode of Jamshed known as "Jamshed na Vaar" whilst some of them decided to remain within the vicinity of Iran but yet very discretely followed
the Zoroastrian deen. Such "Batein Iran" or hidden Iran exists even now.
Poet Firdausi was publicly practising Islam, the cause of it was karmic in nature but he secretly had immense love and respect for Zoroastrian Deen. During that period Abed Dastur Ardesir Kermani was his mentor. Firdausi received immense help and encouragement and he even received the Amaal of Sarosh yazad from his mentor. Firdausi himself says in his Shahnamah:-
Bagush az sarushem basi Muzdehast
Dilam Ganjeh Gavhar zaban azdehast
I intuitively received help from sarosh yazad any my heart overflowed with immense joy But just as a cobra snake keeps guard to the treasures, so my tongue guards the treasures concealed in my heart.
Mohammed Ghazni Gazi-ul-ul-Islam was a strict proponent of Islam but yet Dastur Kermani in order to prove that Zoroastrianism too like Islam was the revealed religion of the almighty made him experience many miracles. This was the main reason for his tolerance of Shahnamah which glamorized Zarathusti deen with poetic magic woven by Firdausi. Firdausi weaves magical poetry been recited by Gustasp Padshah in his Shahnamah. He says :-
Soeh Gumbad azar arid ruye;
Bafarmaneh paygambareh raastguyeh
Ba Yazdan ke hargiz nabinad Bahesht
Kasif nadarad rahe zardost
King Gustasp admonish his country man to follow Zarathusti Deen which was freshly established by paigambar saheb.
He urges his country man to face the shrine of Atash Padshah and adds further that i swear by the glory of yazdan yazads that your salvation will remain incomplete and the gates of heaven will remain closed for ever, till you become Atash parast and follow the noble path of Zarathusti deen.
Over here none should mistake this as an act of Proselytism but it very discretely speaks for itself the real status of Atash Parasti and Zarathosti deen in nature.
With the blessings of Batein Iran or hidden Iran the bunyaad of the "Jaher Iran" or the known Iran improves, their ancestry improves and hence gave birth to sons of soil who were eager in remembering the Kadim grandeur of ancient Zoroastrian culture. Poet Ishki in his poetic narration known as "Ristakhiz" writes for the present day Iran :-
In Kharaba Kabrastan na Irane masta;
In Kharaba Iran Nist, Iran Kujast ?
Damned this place is like Kabrastan and is not Iran that i know of;
Where is my beloved Iran that i am now yearning for.
In this Ishki's narration of Ristakhiz finally Paegambar Zarathustra saheb arrives as a savior of Iran and admonishes them by saying:-
Kare Niko Gofteh niko dile pak in nadad
Gushe Irani ba badbakhti emruz uftad
Haven't i taught you (nek) good deeds , good words and good thoughts
You have brought upon yourselves these perils (badbakhti) and this fact is no more hidden from anybody.
In the same narration of the play a pram is visible on the stage and it descends gradually, upon which Paegambar saheb says :-
Dar hamin Gehware Khofteh nutfeh ayandagan,
Nutfeh een Mardgani rake goi zandegan.
Vaz hamin gehvareh ta chand digar farzandeh chand,
sar bar arad sarabsar Iran az ishan sarbaland.
Baad azin ekbale Iranna digar afsus nist,
lak kahi dar sarnavesteh keshware Sirush nist.
Mun abar ahrimane Iranian galeb shudam,
Hafezeh Iran Buvad Yazdan O Mun gayab Shudam.
Poet Ishki weaves his poetic tunes been recited by Paegambar saheb in his play Ristakhiz. He says that :-
Rainidar of Paegambar saheb Behram Varjawand who is yet to appear will revive and revitalize old iran into New Iran. Paigambar saheb adds further that in this pram(cradle)Iranians are as good as dead but yet you choose to say that they are alive. But remember that it is through this pram only that new Iran will resurrect and raise its head high up again with pride. And from that day onwards one need not regret for even a strand of hair, for i will terminate Ahreman who is hidden in Iran and once again hand over Iran, in safe hands (hifazat) of Paak Yazdan. I will disappear (gayab) from here now onwards.
The Parsis of India should keep all this in mind and act with responsibility.

Asha means Divine Order which is the irrefutable Law existing in nature. Earth is not permanent residence of mankind. He only takes birth on this earth for his spiritual evolution and thereby to achieve salvation in the end. The span of his life on this earth is dependent on number of breath force in his destiny and he finally leaves this earth after his physical death. All religion of this world teaches that man has descended on this earth only for his spiritual evolution (Ruvan Bokhtagi) which is his final goal. When Materialism is rampant and at its peak best, than mankind tends to forget this final goal of Ruvan Bokhtagi or purpose of his existence on this earth. Presently we are living in this gross era of materialism. All five religions of this world are based on this divine law of Asha and their respective prophets manifest themselves at ordained time and thence spread the religion amongst its followers. References of Mazdiyasni Deen and Zarathusti Deen can be found in extant literature of our Mazdayasni Zarathosti Deen. The school of thought as per philology or Grammatical literal translation of our scriptures has been unable to give answer or show the basic difference between Mazdiyasni Deen and Zarathusti Deen. Each word of Avesta Mathra contains nine different meanings, and additionally technical terms can also be found in our extant scriptures of Avesta mathra. Stoat Yasna is perfect science when applied to philological translations of our scriptures, hidden meanings behind each and every word of Avesta can be found out. "Involution" or the making of this Universe is called as Mazdayasni Deen, and "Evolution" or finally merging back to its original root is called as Zarathusti Deen. All five religions of this world aim for evolution for group of souls who are its followers and as laid down by its respective prophets. Hence it can be said that Evolution or Mazdayasni Deen is the common base or aim which can be found in all religion of this world.
The forebears of the present generation of Parsee Zarathustis when they settled in Sanjan with a specific purpose of preserving their Deen had as their spiritual leader of category of an Ashwan. The spiritual status of an Abed as an Ashwan is of very high order capable of understanding and practicing Ashoi. As per the school of Ilme Khshnoom it is only an Ashwan of such high spiritual status who can be custodians of lofty science of Stoat Yasna. It is only with the help of Stoat Yasna applied to Philological and grammatical translations of our scriptures one can decipher the hidden meaning of Avesta. It was with such knowledge of stoat Yasna only that they were able to comprehend the intricacies and farman of our Zarathosti Deen. We do not even possess the past history of our forefathers and their passage to Sanjan via waterway. The school of thought of Ilme Khshnoom has shed some light on this past history which is lost to us. Our forefathers who migrated to west coast of India from Iran belonged to Buniyaad or lineage of Airichithra who were the cream of the cream of Aryan race in Iran . The karma of such a group who migrated to Sanjan under leadership of a Nar Ashwan was good, and they were able to establish Paav Mahal as was pristinely practiced by Airichithra Mazdiyasnan Zarathostis of Iran . They had in their midst Magav and Magavni (female Magi) along with the group and others who lead very ordinary but very high spiritual life of piety. We the present day Parsees have descended from such lineage of sons of soil of Iran , but unfortunately do not practice such high life of piety as our forefathers used to practice before.
Todays Parsee Zarathosti Anjuman, as explained by Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff are undergoing through collective karma or Keshash. The first and foremost Karma of our present day Parsee Zarathosti Anjuman is with this soil of Hindustan , and we will be affected with the ups and down of day today affairs of Indian Politics and its affairs. This kind of karma applied even to our forefathers who had initially migrated from Iran . The second Karma of our present day Parsee Zarathosti Anjuman is with the culture based on this gross and materialistic science of the 19th and the 20th century. The Karma of our forefathers who lived in India during the reign of Rajput Rana and that of Moghul empire was good in comparison to us today’s Parsees. The British empire later came afterwards and we Parsees started enrolling ourselves in Universities and studied their history and literature and slowly got influenced by their way of culture. This western culture that we studied was highly influenced by Europe 's French Revolution which was a period of unrest and upheavals. It was an Era of skepticism, and with such faulty leanings our Parsee community very sharp and intelligent started adopting their culture in their day to day life. The net result was that religious faith and fervor we had towards our religion started going downhill.
Such ill effects of western culture when it swept towards our Parsee Zarathosti community during 19th and 20th century made the study of our religion even more difficult in the absence of much needed required links for deciphering the inner meaning or Tavil of our scriptures. The western scholars who got attracted towards Avesta scriptures no mystical inner translations and Stoat Yasna was available than. The Stoat Yasna applied along with Philological and grammatical translations, that complete knowledge as possessed by ancient Zarathosti Iran which could decipher the scriptures correctly was missing and absent. Today what the Western Scholars call as Philology is incomplete, faulty and defective way of deciphering our scriptures, which was more complete science as understood in Stoat Yasna Chapters. Even Grammatical deciphering of Avesta is explained in Stoat Yasna, but the concerned priceless scriptures of Stoat yasna are unavailable and lost forever. With the help of new and incomplete philology and grammar, new translations of our scriptures were made ready by the Western scholars, but Tarikaats of Ashoi and Dini Farman or Kriyas done for the deceased (Anushe ruvan) and living (Jindeh Ruvan) which was practiced by us with due faith only in the past, was now looked down upon with skepticism. The Karma or Keshah of 19th and 20th Century Parsees towards Mazdayasni Zarathosti Deen was bad which only warded them off tangentially away from the Tarikats of Ashoi which are so indispensable in our Mazdiyasni Zarathosti Deen ( just like Oxygen is indispensable for breathing).
At one side the farman for Tarikaats which propagates Ashoi , and Kriya or rituals which grants us immortality are looked down upon due to new order of studies of Philology trying to decipher our scriptures and at other end it became extremely difficult for Batekustian Behdins and even the practicing clergy to tread the path of Tarikaat Marg and it became practically difficult for maintaining Barashnum owing to surrounding circumstances they came across. The seeds of destruction that were planted in 19th Century by the spiritual downfall of Parsees was actually the cause, out of which huge trees of Deen Dushman and “Asmogh” manifested themselves in 20th Century which was the direct result of the cause.
No Census records has been found for Parsee during the reign of Rajput and Moghul empire. During the British rule the Census records were done many a times and it was found out that the population of Parsees in India never exceeded more than one lakh. Before the British rule the Parsee were residing in villages of west coast of Gujarat as farmers but slowly started migrating to Bombay as British rule flourished and spread all over India . Today out of total one lakh population about 70 % of Parsee population is staying in Mumbai and its surrounding area.
Right from the beginning of 20th Century many questions have been repeated oft and on. The most common topic of discussion that has plagued the thinking hats of our community is the ever decreasing population of the Parsee community. How to increase the population of Parsees is a very delicate issue and such a question can never be answered merely by applying our earthly sense and logic. At one end there are majority of us who accentuate the fact that our prophet never preached conversion, where as there are some few who are in favour of inter marriage and come out with argument that our Prophet did indeed preach conversion. The pessimist scaremongers using the dwindling population as an excuse are projecting a false image far from the truth and in the bargain cunningly propagate their faulty pro-conversion theory. When a skeptic philologist Dastur and some misinformed scholars made a scathing attack upon time tested truths waylaying the faithful away from their faith, even after futile spending of thousands of Rupees in the court of law were unable to come out with a reckoning from the court in favour of conversion. The Jehad in favour of Juddin Navjote was purportedly favoured by some ignorant few who were ignorant of true meaning of Bunyaad and Bunak Pasbani and even refused to acknowledge it. Only minority of our community were so easily waylaid by these false propaganda who ridiculously suggested illogical means of increasing our fold by conversion.
Behramshahji was refered to about this Juddin Fiasco and the reason behind perennial small population throughout our stay in India . As per Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff the first and foremost thing he replied was that group of tola that migrated to India from Iran under the able leadership of NarAshwan Nairosang Dhawal who established independent Paav Mahal of Iranshah highest grade AtashBehram in India, under its talismanic protection the Parsee population can never get erased completely and will always survive. Keeping this important fact in mind In spite of that, looking at the present materialistic era we all are living in, in absence of true faith and Boonak Pasbani missing the community will shrink further to a smaller number than past and only eleven thousand true followers and practiser of our Zarathusti deen in its pristine manner will be present before the advent of our new Rainidar Shah Behram Varjawand, but the sum total number of us as a community will remain around 81,000 only. No predictions made by Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff have ever turned out to be false, and will never ever be so.
Even after the fall of Sassanian Iranian Zarathusti empire there were crores of Zarathusti Iranis on the surface of this earth. Out of this population of crores of Irani Zarathusti the hidden Iran (Batein Iran) was very much present on the political soil of Iran (Zaher Iran), there were still lakhs of Irani Zarathustis who were, besides having true faith towards Zarathusti religion were also valiant fighters and soldiers. Due to certain circumstances such population of valiant Zarathustis staying openly on soil of known Iran ( zaher Iran) started reducing, and finally only 25,000 Zarathustis could be found in known Iran but this time true faith and velour were missing in them.
One argument that has been often discussed and pointed out is that even if the initial group or Tola that migrated from Iran was however small in number, than as per accepted laws of procreation the population of Parsi Irani Zarathustis should have been by now more than a few lakhs in number. But looking at our past records we can see that Parsi Irani Zarathusti population at any given passage of time has never exceeded more than a lakh in number. The reason behind this can be found in Paavmahal of Zarathusti Deen and its Talismanic powers. Urban life of Mumbai city is not at all suitable for practicing our Zarathusti Deen and its lofty tarikaats, and Parsi Zarathusti community cannot exist independently. This fact we Parsis have completely overlooked and we are seeing the negative results of urban migration now, that have been building up ever since last 11 centuries of our stay in India .
Very sad and demoralizing fact to be noted is that nobody wants to find a lasting solution for civil, monetary and religious prosperity of the Indian Parsi Community. If we want prosperity in all directions then Boonak Pasbani and Deenchasidari - that is by practicing the tenants of our Deen with true faith is the most essential ingredient for our survival. It is by practicing Boonak Pasbani only that is by marrying within our community, there in lies our true Khandani, and all the Regal qualities for which our forefathers were respected for and shone like jewel amongst millions will flow automatically by practicing Boonak Pasbani only. Today those who have strong financial background which he has obtained by his own karma only are called as Khandani, but the word Khandani is used as a misnomer today. Fortunately whatever wealth he has obtained through his own merit, he is unfortunately accepting intermarriage in the name of reform which ultimately derogates his true Khandani in nature.
How does a true Khandani manifest itself ? When parents who have full faith towards their own religion practice Tarikats and leads a moral dignified life produces offspring (Farzand) who carries in their genes identical (or even more) characteristic traits like that of their parents is called as true khandani. When generations after generation this chain of Khandani is augmented which is always meritorious, then we can say that a Kuniyat has been build of this Khandani. Spiritual greatness or Khandani is measured in such a way. (Kuniyaat means good fields or powerhouse of energy that has been built in nature by good deeds performed). One can say that majority of our Parsi community is not "DeenChasidar" (implicit faith towards all tenets of his Deen), because had it been such a case than he would have been observing all Tarikats of Ashoi. Leading moral life with character will always goes side by side along with observing Tarikaats which ultimately builds Ashoi. Meher Patet is the basic first step that will take one towards Ashoi and along with that doing Kusti Padyab will make one "DeenChasidar" and practicing Zarathosti deen and all its Farmans will make them prosper like anything in all directions. Parsi Community low population, Intermarriage, and Juddin Navjote, leading a bachelor's life, penury are all effects of the past cause, but by being righteous and practicing Tarikats we get solace and invisible help does indeed rescue us from the majority of the misery, if not completely. One can experience the sweetness of sugar only if we have taken trouble of tasting it, similarly it is only by leading righteous, truthful, moral life and by practicing Druj Parhej Tarikaats do we realize grandeur and practicality of our Deen, for our religion is a way of life to be practiced. ( Chasi means Chasni to taste our Deen and hence the word Deen Chasidari).
Parsi Community will survive with the help of Talismanic Paavmahal even in the most trying hard times such as now, but the need of the hour is to make effort to practice DeenChasidari and to spread the message to all. Those who are busy with their families and making their ends meet by doing service are not able to follow all tarikaats but could make all possible effort to the best of their ability towards observing Deen Chasidari life, but those who are monetarily sound have a responsibility in nature to observe DeenChasidari life.
Parsees staying in India who are one lakh in number are not the only followers of Paak Mazdiyasni Zarathusti Deen, but there are Crores of Airi Chithra Bastekustian Mazdiyasni Zarathustis on the surface of this earth and also there are lakhs of Zarathustis Abeds who dwell in talismanic places invisible to human eyes and its touch far away in high mountains. But secretly these Crores of Airi Chithra Bastekustian Mazdiyasni Zarathustis Iranis on the surface of this earth for many centuries since past have been practicing Boonak Pasbani very descretly under guidance of their leaders and patiently await for good times to come. Present day Iranologists have not even faintest idea about the past ancient Iranians and how after their past destruction they will be revived in coming future. How can they have even roughest of idea about the nature’s dark secrets and its methods? It is only Ilme Khshnoom and under guidance of Mazdiyasni zarathostis Naar who have reached stage of an Ashvan can we have even a roughest idea as to how in the coming future will New Iran and new Zarathostis Population be revived in Iran . Parsee Zarathostis residing in India even after 11 centuries have managed to preserve their Buniyaad (seed) and their Etekad (faith) which itself is a miracle. It is with the help of the school of Illme Khshnoom can we strengthen Deendari into DeenChasidari. ( Note:- DeenDaar= having faith in our prophets teachings but not practicing it, DeenChasidari= Is to put the teachings of our prophet into actual practice which is equivalent to tasting the fruits of our deen). Parsee Community of India has not been able to appreciate the school of Ilme Khshnoom brought by Ustad Saheb Behramshah Nowroji Shroff under the watchful eyes and able guidance of Demavand Koh Abed Sahebs and its leader Shrosavarez Marzban Saheb. We dont have to worry about the declining population of our community in India, which will be preserved as per its destiny, what we have to worry about is how to strengthen our Deenchasidari and to maintain Boonak Pasbani ( racial purity of our blood, seed). Today majority of our Parsee community do have faith in them but they do not have DeenChasidari in fair measures. The school of ilme Khshnoom has made its presence felt amongst Parsi community since 1905 and has been able to shed light on many a complex matters not fully understood by us, and behind the scene work has been done silently by blessings of Zarathosti Abed Sahebs. Those of us who sincerely wish to preserve orthodoxy in our community should concentrate on cultivating Deendari further into Deenchasidari as shown by Ilme Khshnoom and not to worry about our declining population.
Late jehangirji goes on further and says that although he does not feel like mentioning, but it is with very sad heart that he is compelled to write that since 1940 and later on had it not been for ilme Khshnoom and its denunciation and tirade against religious slur and ignorance demonstrated by some of Deen Dushman than the end result would have been unimaginably catastrophic. In future also this school of ilme Khshnoom will give its share of guidance in very mysterious ways. If this trend continues than downfall of our Parsi community is imminent and not very far away, but what very essential requirement which is lacking here is the correct guidance of going to the root cause of all our maladies and downfall. "Erejoish Patho" as mentioned in Vahishtoisht Gatha is the tarikat path which when followed righteously will always culminate into Ashoi. Asha means divine order in nature classified into five groups of souls who in turn are attached to five great religions of the world (namely Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity which are not man made at all, but are in fact God given gift for our spiritual upliftment). This divine order of Asha has been brought into existence or set into motion during Cosmogenesis by blue print plan of "Ahunavariya" which is the will of Dadar AhuraMazda himself. This important fact that has been explained in our scriptures has to be properly understood and grasped by our highly educated members of our community. The power of Ashoi that can be developed by treading on the shown path of "Tarikaat marg" is the basic foundation and farman of our Zarathosti Deen. These powers of Ashoi if properly developed can stun today’s scientific world for within our physical body lies many dormant powers that can be activated by Ashoi. These divine order of Asha is the cause for "Jzhirum" or different religions of the world (5 group of souls and its followers) which spiritual evolve differently because of variable "Ray" or Wattage of a soul (i.e. spiritual brightness of each soul is different than one another but they can all be accommodated and classified into 5 main group of souls). This eternal truth will someday dawn unto all of us. If the Parsees begin to follow all Tarikat than seeds of morality will get evolved and will subdue the seeds of immorality which compel us to sin. Along with such changes occurring within us than we with the shield of Sudreh Kusti and its "Amal" such a Parsee becomes a true fighter and a Rathestar in service of AhuraMazda and give more power to SpenaMino in its eternal fight against Ghenamino and Ahriman. Such Parsees even though who are less in comparison to millions of worldly population never ceases to shine one amongst Millions.
Today’s times that we are living in is a period where one can get misled to untruth, but "Taroiditeh Angreh Mainyu" which we pray in our Kusti means that by following our Deen we are able to see through the evil game plan of Angreh Mainyu and become helpers of Spenamino.
It is not the declining population but it is ignorance towards correct practice of our Deen or faith put into action (Deenchasidari) that is so very essential for our survival.

"Let no harm come upon the Traditional Zoroastrian flag and its values which are so dear to us. Let the reformists agenda never suceed and their nefarious plans be upturned. Let no harm befall upon Pavmahal of India that is - our Iranshah of Udwada and all Atash Behram, Atash Adran and Dadgah of India. The things that we value most like Holy consecrated Fire(Pavmahal), Dokhmas, Sudreh Kusti which acts as a weapon to thwart evil, and let us protect our racial traits of Parsi panu through Boonak Pasbani by not marrying outside. That is how we will be able to maintain our true Zarathosti Khandani. Let the advent of Shah Behram Varjawand and his fore runners come soon and protect us from this mess. Let my Kusti Padiav and my Tarikats be helpful to nature to fight for the cause of Righteousness against the evil negative forces of Drujis, and may it protect us all Zarathustis and entire humanity who live by religion and its tenets"

(This article had appeared in Frashogard magazine 1926 – Editor Late Ervad Phiroze Shapurji Masani. In it the reader will get a good idea as to how Dastur Dinyar was instrumental in establishing the new Hashemi religion of Islam. Dastur Dinyar played a pivotal role and actually laid foundation stone before the religion of Islam was known to the world. And he played that role with many sacrifices pertaining and as applicable to his own personal Keshash which also brought to the forefront the role that Mazdiyasni Daen always plays and is involved when a new religion is established.)
Dinyar Saheb belonged to status of Dasturan Dastur during the reigns of Sassanian empire. There were many like him who also belonged to the great Sassanian Empire. Dastur Dinyar was very much aware of the Tavils of ilme-kshnoom that can unlock the mystic Ramz or coded meanings of Avesta. One very important thing to be noted here is that it was in Dastur Dinyar's destiny to lead many forerunners and those responsible in establishing Islam and to bring them in contact with the mother nature and towards omnipotent God. Mazdayasni Daen also played a very important role in establishing Christian religion and the contact between Christ and four Magians who had come to visit them is a glaring example of the role that Mazdayasni daen plays in establishing other Deens.
As it was the custom and age old traditional followed since ages the court was summoned by the royalty or the Shahi Durbar where all wise men who were ilamdar and amaldar met, discussed and exchanged philosophy with each other with no differentiation of Caste and Colour. Dastur Dinyar was present in one of these gathering of Court or "Mijlas". Dastur Dinyar was awarded the title of Dasturan Dastur during the Reign of Shah Nosherwan-e-Adil. He was steeped in highest order of ilam and Amal and was much acclaimed in Iran of those days. He lead a very pious and Tarikaat Baaj life like a true Athravan and always remained in true Mithra of nature in his prayers. Life of such high souls are extraordinary that cannot be equated to life lead by any ordinary human. We can realize his greatness only when we know that he used to be in contact and talked with a mystic bird known as "Ud-Ud". He used to be deeply entrenched and in unision with God and his nature.
His dwelling place was also worth noting and mentioning here that it had several doors and entrances kept is special order that he only understood it correctly. In short he was no ordinary human and beyond compare that our thoughts cannot grasp his magnamity. He lived in the times of Nosherwan Shahenshah who was known in all four corners of the world at that time. The Shahenshah in his court used to organize international
meetings or "Mijlas" of the wise man known as the "Ulmas". In one of these Mijlas Dastur Dinyar was present. In those days Dasturan Dastur always used to sit in throne made up of solid Gold and that too always on the right side of the Shahenshah, such was the honour given to him. In such a meeting one of wise man who was amaldar himself asked a question in the Mijlas. The Shahenshah passed on the question to Dasturan Dastur Dinyar which had to be answered by him. Dastur Dinyar was taken aback for a moment by the bluntness of the question and was reticent in disclosing the answer in the court. But the curiousity of the Shahenshah was aroused further and he wanted to know the answer. In that Court another wise man known as BuzurchMeher was also present who was Vazir of Shahenshah Nosherwan-e- Adil. BuzurchMeher hinted to Dastur Dinyar that he should answer the question keeping in mind the safety of Zarathosti deen and its followers the people of the book as paramount. Dastur Dinyar with his developed senses became aware that he will be catching up his karma from now and from this very situations he will be excommunicated and exiled from his own country. He was very much aware that due to the new religion that is destined to arise in very near future Iran and Zarathostis will have to suffer much and he will be instrumental in bringing this new religion into existence by giving Amal to the chosen few. Buzurch Meher too was very much aware of future enfoldments and hence his cautioning to Dastur Dinyar.
Dastur Dinyar requested few days to solve the riddle and entered into Meditative mood very much concerned and worried to solve this riddle. Dastur Dinyar's mother noticed the anxiety writ on his face and willingly decided to help him out by keeping a watch at the entrance of his Meditation room so that he wont be disturbed in his meditation. Dastur Dinyar was in Meditation and his Mother keeping a watch outside his room but Dastur Dinyar was disturbed from his mediation by a Durvesh who sneaked inside without the knowledge of his mother. Dastur Dinyar was disturbed by this intrusion and reprimanded his Mother in not taking care of his given instructions. His Mother was unable to understand as to how Dervesh managed to sneak inside in spite of her keeping guard at the entrance. The real “Ramz” or hidden meaning was that the Hashemi Era had managed to sneak in the form of a Dervesh without knowledge of Mother. The Darvesh managed to distract Dastur Dinyar three times even though he being of a stature of an Abed. He got annoyed and threw upon his mother a pen. His mother was taken aback by the sudden outburst and died of shock. Dastur Dinyar immediately realized his folly that the Talisman had worked on the riddle query and he got cornered in the process. He immediately realized that this Darvesh was non other than Hashemi Zamanah, and he remembered the wise words and caution given by BuzurchMeher to him. As per the strict laws of the land he was exiled away from his town on horse back towards Arbastan. He with a very heavy heart repented for his folly and with thousands of thoughts running in his mind was heart broken and asked for forgiveness from his Keshash. Sarosh yazad gave his appearance and directed him to a particular direction where he will encounter a Nomadic tribe and he will meet a person with particular physiognomic marks over his body. Dastur Dinyar was instructed by Sarosh Yazad to revive by Amal that particular Person who will in near future be capable of establishing Islam the new religion. As instructed by Sarosh yazad, Dastur Dinyar met that particular person. The Nomadic tribe was taken aback with the noble features of Abed Saheb Dastur Dinyar which automatically commanded respect and bowed down unto him.
The topic of Amal is a very sensitive matter, and Dastur Saheb in his last days in Iran left with a heart broken. Hashemi zamanah played havoc with the destiny keshash of Dastur Dinyar and he was unable to do many things as he wished it to be done. Today many of ignorant call him as a Renegade priest who was exiled which does not give much credence to his high stature that he really deserved so.
Such matters are better if left closed because if Dastur Dinyar was unable to maintain himself against Hashemi zamanah than who are we puny Zarathosti Dravands, who cannot withstand Hashemi zamanah at all. Such is called as Talesam-e Haft Rang Zamanah or Talisman of 7 moving skies or colours of destiny .

Vendidad 18th Paragad first para says that the one who wears Padan in wrong manner has sinned. It means that there cannot be a Mobed without Padan, just as a warrior soldier has a matted net shield covering his face which acts like a Padan due to which that warrior is able to fight in battlefield. Similarly an Athravan with the help of his Padan is able to keep his passions in check and simultaneously does not get influenced by the bad thoughts of a person near him.
The Kayani and Sassanian emperors during their reign and in their court, could not be approached without wearing a Padan, because a visitor in the court can be evil or pious. Hence it was mandatory for all present in the court to wear Padan. The Shah himself also wore a Padan, simply because the Shah possessed Farreh Yazadi Khoreh within him and had to give unbiased judgment which cannot be negatively influenced by the assorted mixture of good or bad breath forces "Nafs" of Courtesans present in the court. With the help of Padan the Shah used to always remain within their circuit of goodness unaffected from the pollution of outer world.
In Avesta Padan is called as "Paitidan" which literally means a protection in front of “Mohini” or temptation. In Vendidad Paragad 14, para 8th says that those who has killed a seadog or Otter called as "Udra" has sinned and is punishable. The punishment reserved for such sinners is to donate certain Alats to Athornan, and Padan is an Alaat to be gifted by this sinner to an Athornan. Hence as per Vendidad Padan is an Alaat which is a weapon reserved for fight against Ahriman and which will take us nearer to AhuraMazda. Alaat is a Pazend word for weapon and the matching word in Avesta is "Zaothra". Zaothra is a medium with whose help we can go nearer to Dadar.
Hence Alaat is so very essential in our deen, and Mobed's existance is not possible without a Padan. A devotee whilst praying invokes "Asere Roshni" currents in his surrounding atmosphere known as "Aipi", where he is praying. A devotee whilst praying continues to breathe. The life sustaining force present in breathe is called as "Ushtaan" and is Yazatic under currents. Our Breathe also composes of passions and flows freely with it.
Hence a devotee whilst praying is supposed to stop passion flowing breathe force and strengthen Ushtan force in one's breathe. The alaat of Padan helps us in achieving that goal, and does not pollute the kriya that is recited through our breathe force.

There are two types of Destiny. They are 1) Immutable Destiny and 2) Mutable Destiny. Both Destinies can be predicted by Najoom science of Astrology. In ancient Iran during the times of Lord Zarathustra and as taught by our great Prophet to his ace Disciple Jamaspa, "Jame Jahnuma" was a complete Science through which such predictions could be be made. 9,000 years from now in the past whatever great upheavals that had occurred and will be happening in future from now had been correctly predicted and recorded by Ace disciple Jamasp in his Mega epic "Jamasphi" Volume. These volume is lost and unavailable to us now, what we have with us is only a faint glimpse of the original epic.
Nature has in its bosoms certain laws that governs karma of humans. Karma or Keshash are of two kinds. 1) Individual Keshash 2) Collective Keshash (of Country). As per the good or bad deeds of humans he has to endure its consequences known as "Keshash". Zarathusti Din has at its basic grassroot level certain law that dispense Justice and its glimpse can be found in "Ustavad Gatha: Akem Akai Vanguhim Ashim Vangahove" meaning good deeds invites good destiny and blessings where as for bad deeds we have to endure and suffer. It is through this law of Akem Akai can we earn liberation from rebirth through good deeds. The law of "Paityoget" and "keshash" is based on basic Principle of Akem Akai. As per collective group of souls having same Jzhirum or followers of same religion have to endure their own individual Keshash as well as collective Keshash. It is through happiness and suffering that one evolves spiritually. Zarathusti Deen has explained such Minoi Science in details. The collective as well as Individual Keshash or Karma that one undergoes through is due to one's own doing and undoing for which nobody else but himself is to be blamed for it.
The present time period of Kaliyug or Hashemi Zamanah is that of upheaval and unrest. The meaning of Kali or Hashem tantamount to Mangal or Mars planet and Star's astrological movement has cascading effect that spreads unrest, War, Destruction and Violence. The malevolent astrological effects of Mars planet leads mankind to materialistic gains which myopically although looks quite attractive but these materialism separates him further away from nature and driving him further and deeper into quicksand of materialism. After materialistic gains comes the suffering of the mankind and he finally learns futility of such pursuits. This self learning of his puts him back on tracks from which he has derailed. He tries to correct himself and in the process learns spiritual lessons never to be forgotten. That is how a human evolves spiritually.
Ustad Saheb Behramshahji has shown us as per Zarathosti Deen the calculation of Zarvane Daregokhadat or how time is measured, or flow of earths' historical time chart right from its inception. Based on Tavil of Zarvane Daregokhadat he has made predictions for near future which has never been proved incorrect. The other name of present Time period or Zamanah is also called as "Kayamat Zamanah". Kayamat means that whatever is unwanted or ugly is destroyed first and is replaced by law order and beauty.
From collective thoughts, words, and deeds of whole humanity emanates elemental fields which are good as well as bad depending on its source and same is meticulously accumulated and recorded in nature. This is similar to how a tape recorder works and records a voice or any sound. The elemental fields that build up due to evil deeds of humans who are ignorant and arrogant are dark and ugly upon which Ahriman who is disciple of Gehnamino sows its seeds of destruction. From these seeds the dark clouds finally evolves into contagious Diseases, and Natural calamities like Floods, Famines, Fire, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Tsunamis, and manmade Calamities like War, and war mongering off springs are born.
Zarathusti Deen describes elaborately about "Saen Druji". Even before Satan had infiltrated this Earth but had surrounded its premises with intention of infiltrating earth, he used to tempt human kind so that he would commit grave sins which will produce Saen Daruji Elemental Clouds. The Tavil of Zarvane Dareghokhadat describes earth's time cycles and important events as flow chart. Previously when Satan had not infiltrated earth it was known as Garodeman or Paradise when Satan was unable to tempt human kind but as time cycle changed and this earth became Drujo Deman where we are living in it presently than Satan tempted humans and as result dark Saen Daruji Elemental Clouds formed which clustered and hovered around Apakhtar or North.
The five main religions known as Panjeh-Takesh had "Asho Nar" of all 5 respective religions who relentlessly day and night used to meditate in seclusion away from prying eyes of Mankind and protected mankind from ill effects of Saen Daruji. Similarly Saen Daruji clouds were kept under control by Religious institutions of all 5 religions with their holy fields intact enhanced by countless prayers and Kriyas recited by the faithful followers. The priestly class of Zarathusti Deen are responsible in nature for keeping in check Saen Daruji. In today’s' turbulent times, the time and place is not right to practice our religion in its pristine form. Even in spite of this drawback a Yozdathregar priest if he performs Vendidad and Yajashne correctly and fully by maintaining holy Karsh of Urvisgah of Atash Padshah saheb than such a kriya can reasonably protect the community. However the ill effects of Saen Daruji cannot be completely neutralized.
In olden times of Zarathosti Shahensahat or Persian Monarchy, the Monarch king used to take advise of Ashvans who were highly regarded and given rightful place near Monarch. In such times if Saen Daruji clouds were noticed when they gathered menacingly at "Apakhtar" or North, than appropriate remedial steps were taken immediately and before the Saen Daruji grew into a Juggernaut Monster the seeds of this daruji was nipped in the bud by performing Saen Baaj which was in itself a lengthy process of Kriya. "Saen Ahum Stut" a 9 Karsh Ashwan having developed Ashoi was the great disciple of Paigamber Zarathustra Saheb who used to perform such Baaj thus breaking backbone of Druji and hence this Baaj was named after him and known as Saen Baaj. Such is high Status of this Nar-Ashwan that he has attained righteous authority and his own Dastoori rules the roost over and above all Dastooris throughout present Zarvane Daregohkhadat time cycle.
Saen Baaj has multifarious facet and numerous ways of doing its kriya, whose immediate details is unknown to us presently. Only "Nar-Ashwans" reserve the righteous authority in nature of conducting such Baaj and it cannot be done by all and sudry. This Kriya can be done in 52 days in various elaborate ways. Four Yazats are invoked and they are namely:- 1) Tir Yazat 2) Satwas 3) Haptoiring & 4) Vanant Yazat. Various kriyas for 49 long days are conducted and special Kiriyas for remaining three days from 50th to 52nd day are conducted later. The effects of these kriya reach out in all four directions and all corners of the universe and world. Nine pairs of Ashwans used to conduct these kriyas and draw Karsh in water, Air, earth and Atmospheric environment, even at cost of personal sacrifices affecting their own spiritual progress. The above mentioned explanation is given only to emphasize the fact as to how dreadful a Saen Druji can have its effects on us.
Just as we have Hour, Minutes and Seconds to measure Time by clock, similarly to measure Zarvane DaregohKhadat time cycle we have respectively Shahenshahat equivalent to Hour hand of clock, and Vazirat equivalent to Minute hand representing the clock and Kotwali equivalent to Second hand of the clock. Right now we are in Mangal Shahenshat as we are in Hashemi Zamana of Mars Planet. We are presently in Mangal Shahenshat, Sun Vajirat and in 1971 its Kotwali changed over to Mercury planet. That is when astrological flow chart pointed to Mars Shahenshat, Sun Vajirat, and Mercury Kotwali, within a decade itself; we have experienced several political upheavals and War. The immediate effect of war on India was the famous war between Indian and Pakistan and independent Bangladesh that was born out of outcome of this war. India suffered a lot and experienced several natural as well as manmade calamities from that period onwards. When the stars moves against our will we have to undergo all hardships that is evidently shown in Astrology and that is applicable to collective karma of a Community, Country, apart from Individual Karma that one has to endure.
Today there is no Monarchy left and even if we wish for it, Monarchy is almost disappeared from us, instead we have Democracy replacing it. In good old times of Monarchy when the emperor used to take advice of Dharma-Gurus of Ashwan category and they reserved rightful place next to Emperor himself. In such a condition law and order was maintained as they were living as per nature’s laws. In such a practice of Monarchy, Democracy or rule for the people was still maintained as ordinary Citizens by themselves are unable to comprehend how nature operates and how religion and political administration are interdependent to one another. But when corruption set in Monarchy and when the voice of Dharma-Gurus was muffled and went unheeded than chaos set in and Democratic process for the people defected to great upheavals and rising of common people. Monarchy nor Democracy cannot function individually by itself as it requires help of one another. Nature operates only in Unity within itself where Dadar AhuraMazda is one and unique and HE only operates in Unity, but this Universe and its nature where we do reside, works on Principle of Duality and Multiplicity. In such a situation of the present Kaliyug or Hashemi Zamanah and in absence of Monarchy, the Democratic process has been in vogue and adopted in political running of many Countries.

As according to Western Scholar a French Orientalist - James Darmesteter’s (1849- 1894) findings King Ardeshir of Ancient Iran had a piece of advice to be given to his son Shapur as heir to Monarch's throne and is as under:-
Abdicating in favour of his son Shapur he admonished him to this effect: Know o my son that religion and royalty are twin sisters that cannot exist the one without the other, because religion is the basis of royalty and royalty is the protector of religion.
India has attained its freedom from British after many sacrifices and human loss of life. Two Nation theory of India and Pakistan was born out of freedom from British, but have we really attained freedom. The Hindu India and Muslim Pakistan is divided by demarcation Border. The line of psychological or imaginary divide is based solely on different Religions practiced by its Majority. Pakistan has lost its freedom with immediate effect after its founder Jinnah's death. What follows after that is Dictatorial rule of Military and ordinary Citizens have no say in it. The 1971 War between India and Pakistan and Bangladesh being born as a result has many sob stories of death, Destruction, Rape and Woe and India had to suffer a lot. But all that is past history. What is important for us to take lessons from such upheavals is that War is the direct result of Saen Daruji and no one country is to be blamed for it.
Late Jehangirji S. Chiniwala further reiterates that as Editor of Parsee Avaz he felt it was his holy religious duty to forewarn us Parsis about immediate effects of Saen Daruji, and he has given us below very practical remedial measures to counteract ill effects of Saen Daruji.
He further goes on by saying that minimally only 11,000 Parsis of India are actually practicing and leading a Tarikaat Baz life. The remaining 60,000 Parsis although having complete faith in teachings of Paigambar Saheb are not practicing Ashoi tarikats which is so very much essential for survival.
Saen Daruji and its elemental clouds are classified in many different ways. It can effect in different ways showering death destruction whose victims can be carefully selected. Saen Daruji can lay its Malevolent sight on towards group of souls of a particular Family, or Citizens of a Country, or a Community depending upon the collective Keshash of a group of souls. The ill effects of Saen Daruji can be counteracted by amal which differs as per five different religions. A Zarathosti Parsi can overcome Saen Daruji by leading a Tarikaat life of Druj Parhej and Amal of Kusti Padiyav intact. In such a condition Saen Daruji can have minimal impact on such God fearing community members and they can have miraculous help and saved by the skin of teeth, or as saying goes in Gujarati "Suli ni Vigan Katey jay" Translation: The punishment of Crucifiction can be altered to a thorn prick which can be easily endured. Certain members of community may find this fact hard to stomach it but there is Minoi Science attached behind and is not Mumbo Jumbo.
Human body emanates continuously from within Magnetism which today’s science recognizes it and acknowledges it too. But Science is unable to understand the effects of this Magnetism upon human body and its surrounding atmosphere. This Magnetism that emanates continuously from humans as Daruji is what we recognize as khastar or electromagnetic fields which revolve in circular manner. It enters via breathing process of humans and thus enters the immediate surrounding area of Humans also known as "Aipi". From such Daruji surrounding the Aipi of human unimaginable microbes germs known as "Hariri" are born which can pollute vital life breath force known as "Ushtan" or "Pranvayu". Thus a negative energy is formed known as "Temangah" which literally means darkness or dark energy. The ill effects of Saen Daruji gets easily attracted towards those not practicing "Druj Parhej" especially of Daruji e Hikra (Daruji arising from shaving, cutting hair, nails) and Daruji e Buji ( Daruji arising from menstruating women). Thus "Temangah" gathers strength further for those who do not follow Druj Parhej Tarikaats. By practicing Druj Parhej Tarikaats apart from good robust health that one acheives it also offers protection and reduces the ill effects of Saen Daruji upon oneself. At the time of Epidemic at Surat, Yozdathregars of that era were all Tarikat Baz and none fell victim to the epidemic. This was observation by Manchershaw Master of Surat who was another disciple of Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff.
That Modern Science is much lagging behind in proper understanding of Nature and its laws and Canon upon which our Zarathosti Daen is based upon can be fully understood by the under mentioned example and incident which is narrated by Late Jehangirji Chiniwala:-
Tuberculosis is a disease which is now curable but Ustad saheb Behramshah Shroff was not in agreement with some of his Medical Physician friends and he thus explained to them that as per Modern Science the sputum of a T.B. patient was supposed to be full of germs and hence they were quarantined and the patient's sputum was consigned to flames and burnt. But Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff explained to his Physician colleagues that this is contrary to teachings of Zarathusti Daen as it tantamount to throwing "Naso" or Putrid Matter in fire which is considered as Cardinal Sin in our Deen. He further explained that if Sputum be consigned to flames and fire, these germs instead of getting destroyed on the contrary spread faster and aim of prevention of this contagious ailment of T.B. is lost.
By leading a Tarikaat Baz life the Druji, arising from our body which is made up of "Anasar" or the element, is actually kept in check by not allowing it to go Berserk and later transmuted to Gaav by developing Ashoi. Our spiritual faculty of "Veer, Hosh, Kherad" develops and sharpens due to Ashoi (Reference of Veer, Hosh, Kherad in Dao Naam Setayesh). Such a Tarikat Bastekustian Zarathosti is fully armed to ward off any contagious epidemic which is result of Saen Daruji. We Bastekustian Zarathosti have received "Manthra- Spenta" Manthra as a priceless spiritual heritage from our Paigambar Saheb. Prayers along with Ashoi tarikats is a promise and a remedy to ward off Saen Daruji and its evil effects. In such a atmosphere of Nuclear War and its threats looming around us, if we maintain Amal of Kusti Padyav at every change of Geh and with a Mithra in our mind that “May we as Community and Country get protection from death and destruction which is imminent in case of outbreak of Epidemics, War and Natural Calamities, and peace remains supreme.”
The Mithra, Mathra, and Yasna of Zarathusti Daen and its practice not only protect the Bastekustian Zarathustis but it also offers protection to complete humanity in such trying times. Every individual Bastekustian whose Navjote is lawfully done and at right time in his life, if he maintains Amal of Kusti Padiyav and wears Sudreh Kusti as is rightfully taught to us (not sleeveless Sudreh or Dainty thin Kusti as out ward show of fashion), and with truth in his speech and leading Tarikat Baz life than apart from a Bastekustian moving a step towards his own spiritual salvation, he also contributes towards spiritual progress of entire humanity.
Saen Daruji and its ill effects cannot be totally tamed and subdued but with Amal of Sudreh Kusti offers protection from dark forces or "Temangah" of Saen Daruji. May the Harvesp-Khuda of Zarathosti Daen be guiding light and inspire Zarathustis to lead a Tarikat Baz life of Druj Parhej and Ashoi. Such is Mithra required for us in such trying times.

FKS' Note:- Todays era of Kali Yug can be considered as child play for Daevs as compared to pre era of Zarathustra. Death,destruction and havoc that Daev and Demons showered on humanity than, was the reason for Paigambar saheb to descend with his Vedaevodat or Vendidad to subjugate and defeat the Daevs. These Daev-Yasnis were very knowledgeable of evil art of Black magic. Vedaevodat means Dat = Rule, To keep Daev in check =Ve Daevo. Paigambar Saheb during his earth stay accomplished his Mission and eradicated Daevs and Demons from the surface of this earth, but the evil elemental fields of Saen Daruji arising from the Sins of Daevs loomed around the earth like dark clouds threatening to destroy Earth. This Saen Daruji clouds are no ordinary clouds of destruction but if not kept in check had the ability to destroy this planet Earth.
This special type of Saen Daruji clouds are known as Tur Bara Tur and allegorically explained in Shah namah that the evil magician known as Tur Bara Tur tried to stab and harm Paigambar saheb who was meditating. Paigambar Saheb as an act of self defense threw his holy Rosary beads and thus destroyed Tur Bara Tur magician.
But that is allegory, the real Tavil behind it is as follows:- Paigambar Saheb who is 9 Kash Nar-Aswan is the only soul eligible to destroy the Gargantuan dark elemental fields of Tur Bara Tur. After his Mission accomplished on this earth Paigambar saheb send the lethal blow of destruction of Tur Bara Tur clouds but the back lashing explosion of Tur Bara Tur clouds was lethal enough to destroy this Planet Earth. Paigambar Saheb as a last selfless act before his “Vikhiz” took the fatal blow of Boomerang from Tur Bara Tur clouds upon himself and in the process saved this Earth from imminent destruction. That was his last Mission of eradicating Tur Bara Tur and his passing away from this earth is not considered as his death because he was a Yazatic force and death cannot effect him. Paigambar Saheb's passing from this earth to higher realms is known as "Vikhiz"

we have held and the words we have repeatedly used, have created our
life and experiences up to this point .Yet that is past thinking. We
have already done that. What we are choosing to think today, this
moment, will create the next day, the next week, the next month and
the next year. The point of power is always in the present moment.
This is where we begin to make changes. What a liberating idea!
Both, the good and the bad in our lives are the results of
our mental thought patterns which form our experiences. We all have
many thought patterns that produce good positive experiences which we
enjoy. It is the negative thought patterns (which generally out-number
our positive thought patterns) that produce uncomfortable, unrewarding
experiences with which we are afflicted.
We have learnt that for every aspect of our lives, there
is a constant thought pattern that precedes and maintains it. Our
consistent thought patterns create our experiences. Therefore, by
changing our thinking patterns we can change ourselves for a happy and
If we understand the true meaning of metaphysical
causations, and how our beliefs and ideas are often the cause of our
illness, then we can be aware of the connection between the thoughts
and different parts of our body which create our physical ailments.
Replacing Old Patterns:
For every condition in our lives, we have created a need,
a sort of bondage, for it. The symptom is only an outer effect. We
must go within to dissolve the inner cause. This is why mere will
power and discipline cannot work in isolation. They are only battling
the outer effects. It is like cutting off the weeds instead of pulling
the roots out. So, before you begin the new thought patterns, in
addition to will power, and discipline, work on the eradication of the
root cause to release the bondage of your obsessions like smoking,
alcohol, addictions or whatever vices associated with them. When the
need is gone, the outer effect must die. No plant can live if the root
is cut off!
The mental thought patterns that cause most diseases are
criticism, anger, resentment and guilt. For instance, criticism
indulged long enough will often lead to the physical ailment of
arthritis. Anger turns into matters that burn our body. Resentment can
lead to tumors and cancer. Guilt always seeks punishment and leads to
aches and pain. It is easier to get rid of negative attitudes by
positive thinking when we are healthy than to try to dig them out when
we are in a state of ill health. When cancer or any other illness
returns, it is because the patient has made no mental changes and thus
recreates the illness.
"Affirmations are anything we say or think. Our thoughts
create our feelings, beliefs and experiences. Too often they are
negative. We say: "I do not want this in my life", or "I hate my job."
If we want to change or manifest something in our life, we must state
what we do want. Instead of the negative thinking, we must affirm that
we are determined to see ourselves in a different perspective. We can
change our life only by first getting out of the rut and changing our
thoughts with a positive attitude.
Take a little time to listen to the words you say. If you
hear yourself saying something quite often, write it down. It has
become a pattern for you. At the end of a certain period, say a month
or so, look at the list you have made and you will see how your words
fit your experiences. Be willing to change your words and thoughts and
watch your life change. The way to control your life is to control the
choice of words and thoughts. You can put right thoughts in your mind
only by your persistent efforts. Thoughts can make or break
you. Freedom of choice is given to us and it is in our hands to
maneuver our thoughts in the right direction, or allow it to meander
into dark crevices which 'Ahriman' has cunningly dug for us. You take
your pick, and pay for it!
The 'Patet Pashemani' prayer compiled by our last Rainidar

possible only if there is a change of heart. In other words, by
changing our way of thinking we can repent for the wrongs committed by
us and turn on the path of righteousness.
If we carefully study the pattern of wrongs committed by
us, we would be surprised to find that the root cause is UNTRUTH.
Hence, truth and penance (Meher Patet) are stressed in our religion
for our spiritual progress.
Our Manashni, Gavashni, and Kunashni can only lead us to
Humata, Hukhata and Huvarashta. .The prefix Hu suggests qualities
equivalent to those of Ahu (i.e.God). In Vendidad Pargard 22 it has
been stated that the ailments were cast upon humanity by 'Ahriman'
through the implantation of wrong thoughts in human beings. "Manthra
Baeshasz" (i.e. healing with the Manthra Spenta prayers) along with
'Ashoi' and observation of 'Tarikats' are considered the highest form

What is Mathra is not exactly understood as of today. Manthra is not merely a collection of words as can be found in a language, but if recited with right pronunciations automatically attracts benedictions of blessings.
The Scholars of Avesta Pahallvi as per Philology decipher Manthra prayers as a Language. I myself (Jehangirji S.Chiniwala) had entered into an altercation with the great Scholar of those days Ervad Jamshedji Unwala reiterating the fact that even as per Philology if one considers Manthra as language, the Parsi community should be clearly explained that Avesta Manthra is not merely a Language but same Manthra if recited can attact blessings of "Manthra-Spenta", which are spiritual in nature for our progress. Manthra are called as Baeshaza or remedies. Ashoi is a remedy, even Surgery, or Herbal medicine is also considered as a remedy. Similarly Manthra is also considered as a remedy superior to other remedies that is why it is called as "Baeshazanam Baeshazayotemo" meaning remedy of all remedies. Hence Manthra is considered as an Ace topmost remedy which surpasses all other remedies. For compilation of Manthra special rules are to observed, which are based on Stoat-Yasna. Out of "Frashusho Manthra" 21 Nasks of Paigambar Asho Zarathustra the last Nask was called as Vastarem Nask, and had in it 33 Chapters pertaining to it.
Ustad Saheb Behramshah Nowroji Shroff had said that during the rule of Kyani Dynasty, Huafritan Dynasty, Kudarwand Dynasty, and Hakhamni Dynasty rule, each and every Zoroastrians knew Avesta and they prayed along with the necessary Mithra and the kind of thoughts required whilst praying was taught in religious schools to all Zoroastrian children. Such was the manner in which these Avesta Manthra were prayed side by side with Mithra and was known as "Nemo". The beginning period of Sassanian Dynasty was much better but later on as times changed even before the advent of Shapurshah the 2nd bad practices began to crepe inside. Ardesar Babegan had established Sassanian Dynasty rule and right from that period till Shahpurshah the 2nd rule, Zoroastrian religion and its practices were not up to the par as was practiced before and much dereliction was apparent and crept in. During those times Christian religion had just set in and Christians had no place to call their own. Zoroastrian Iranians were known for their benevolence and tolerance for other religions right from the very beginning and in all times Zarathoshti Deen has been protector and nourishers of all other four religions. In those days Christians were supported by Iranians and were given place to settle down in Armenia.
Those same Christians after having settled in Armenia began their effort to Proselyte the very Zoroastrians who had offered them a roof over their heads. Christians in those days could perform cheap miracles of lower category with help of some Mantras they possesed. Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff used to say that Christian religion did possess certain powers so obtained from "Amal" or practice of certain Mantras wherein some of Zoroastrians got attracted to it in wrong direction. Even today there are Mantras of white side as well as of Dark forces in nature that are present in other four religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism). Hindu religion does possess knowledge of white side Mantra pertaining to Southern direction which is called as "Dakshin Marg". Simultaneously Hindu religion do possess Mantras of another path leading towards North direction subservient to gross materialism known as "Vam Marg". Today all Dhantar- Mantar that we hear of is originated from Vam Marg. Similar to Hindu religion possessing those Mantras, other four religions as mentioned above subsequently did possess Mantras of both sides of nature involving Dark as well as White side of nature. Unfortunately even today some of Parsees are involved in Dhantar-Mantar meddling with Arvahis (or Jinn Pairi) and becoming slaves to them in hope of getting quick results from their every day maladies or problems they do encounter. Besides they themselves becoming slaves to those dark forces of nature known as Arvahis they also entice others to same path leading them in wrong direction and thus indulging in Sins of Deen Dushmani or Ashmogi. The Manthras in Zarathosti Deen have only one word for it and that is called as "Manthro-Spento" or Mantras leading towards Spenti or Spiritual enlightenment.
Paigambar Saheb had applied Stoat-Yasna over Kyan language and composed Avesta of Frashusho-Manthra. As said before bad times began setting in right from Sassanian Dynasty rule. Avesta Manthra if prayed by Iranians in those days without Mithra or appropriate thoughts pertaining to those Manthras is not considered to be the right way of prayers. Day by day the situation worsened due to bad times making their advances. Who was Aderbad Marespand? What was his spiritual status ?, we have to know that first before we proceed any further. Aderbad Marespand was known as Rainidar-e-Zaman meaning that great Nar-Ashwan who is entrusted the work by Dadar AhuraMazda himself the task of leading further Zarathosti Daen and keeping in mind the karma of its followers and the tough times present during that period of Time cycle or Era. He had to recompose with help of Stoat Yasna Avesta Pazend again.
The Deen of Asho Zarathustra Saheb will last till the end of 81,000 years cycle of Zarvane-Dareghokhadat, and during that period several sub cycles and Sub-Sub cycles of different Era (Zaman) will revolve and progress in Time frame of 81,000 years period. All Zamana are not same, they say at the times of Paegambar Saheb's period Paegambar saheb himself was of 22 feet height, Kersasp was of 24 feet height,so was Rustam Pehelvan of same height. In that time frame it is very difficult for us today to imagine what kind of humans stayed at that time and have given example so that we get some idea of that era. Today tallest man are of 7 feet height or even more than that and are Europeans who stay near Russian borders surrounded by Ural Mountains and Ural river where the temperatures are below freezing and persons like us will surely catch Pneumonia in this Frigid zone. Zarathosti Deen will survive through 81,000 years cycle, and times will keep on changing. In near future Shah Behram Varjawand Saheb advent is imminent and he will establish a small Satya Yug which will be like Oasis of cool breeze in this tough times we are enduring now. As time will progress till the end of 81,000 years cycle when humans will be between 3 to 3 and half feet in height, and he will be so full of passions lusting for women as animals go after animals to satiate their passions. These glaring contrasts does exist between every Zamana and time cycles and that is why future course for our Deen has to be well organized, and there is divine order in our Zarathosti Deen. The future Rainidars that will do their work in different sub cycles have been fully authorized and are known as "Razreh". Behramshah Shroff had said that the great Rainidar Aderbad Marespand with his powers can foresee in Sezdah or trance that his Rainidari will have to survive till advent of future Rainidar Shah Behram Varjawand Saheb who is yet to come.
He could foresee in sezdah the type of mixed karma of humans reincarnating during that period and karma of those Zarathostis reincarnating will be having tough times ahead due to lack of faith in them. He had to make special arrangements by comipling prayers for those Zarathostis and for their survival till Shah Behram Varjawand arrives and takes over Rainidari. This has been noted in Patet Pashemani prayers. In Patet Pashemani prayers we pray and declare our faith towards Zarathosti Deen which has been handed over to us by AhuraMazda himself through Asho Zarathustra saheb who has tasted it (Chasta) and experienced its greatness. Aderbad Marespand had with his divine eyes saw the future tough times as per Stoat Yasna reconstructed/ammended Manthra and Deen suitable for the souls to be reincarnated in future and presented to its followers. Zarathustra saheb in turn hands over the Deen to Gustasp Padshah who finally hands over Deen to Aderbad Marespand Saheb.
(FKS' Note:- See beginning of Kardo 12 of Patet Pashemani. "Pa aan Deen dastur esta hom, een Hormazda Zarathosta Chasta, Zarathosta oeya Gustaspa pa pevand Aderbad Marespandan mud, padash pasakht kard bokhta...........". It is like handing over and taking over the watch like we do when we perform watch keeping services for full 24 hours time cycle. Just as Captain of a ship is in charge overall, similarly it is in Dadar AhuraMazda watchful eyes that Rainidars who are HIS envoys do their work in 81,000 years time cycle).
Aderbad Marepand foresaw that the souls about to reincarnate during his Rainidari and Dasturi will be unable to pray Avesta Manthra along with the Manashni as it was prayed before. Late Jehangirji cited an example that Vada Dasturji Dr. Homrmuzdiar Kayoji Mirza can pray Avesta Manthra keeping in mind the exact meaning of the words prayed, but such is not the case with layman and common man like us. Even Professional Mobeds who pray Vendidad Yajasne are unable to do so. In fact it is very difficult to know the word to word meaning of Avesta manthra by mere linguistic translations. Avesta Manthra are compiled as per Stoata Yasna and can be understood by Taavil or Inner exposition only. Keeping in mind such a situation will be arising in future, Aderbad Marespand felt the need to reconstruct and repair the Manthra as per Stoat yasna and introduced Mithra of Pazand in Khordeh Avesta. Similarly he also constructed all Setayash, Afrin, Patet Pashemani prayers as per the needed Mithra. These Pazand Mithras that he introduced are also considered as Manthra.
Manthras can be be prayed in three ways as per Zarathosti deen and as shown by Ustad Saheb Behramshah Shroff. 1) Drenjya:- In first method Manthra can be recited at one go without understanding its meaning 2) Stravi Gathavya Vacha:- Second method of praying Manthra is by applying required Manashni and Taavil. This method . In Patet Pashemani prayers in Kardo 5 it is mentioned Avesta Pach Manashni Nagoftan meaning Avesta if prayed without Manashni is considered as sin and am repentful 3) Murah:-The third method of praying Manthra can be done by only an "Amaldar" Dastoor who gives Manthra prayers to be recited in a particular way for a certain problem as encountered by us. These Dastoors can give Nirangs for any Health problem or difficulties faced by us in life. There are many ways of Murah prayers like sitting for prayers in certain Yogic Asana. (FKS Note:- e.g. The "Dozanu" way of prayers is an asana we see in photograph of Shah Faredoon keeping both legs folded on one side only).The other method of "Murah" prayers is using point of focus or Kebla in a certain manner and praying. The method of "Stravi Gathavya Vacha" can be used by only Abed and Ashwan sahebs. When they pray Avesta Manthra the Stoatic vibrations emanating from their eyes merges with Ahunavar naad travels to required destination in nature having obtained necessary blessings these stoats return back to the adept who had prayed and from where it had originated.
Ustad Saheb used to say that in Kash of Demavand Koh where the Magavs reside the Yajasne and Vendidad that is prayed over there, the keherps so formed and the shapes, Fareshtas thus obtained are shown to disciples by the Masters or Guru himself using Paevand or Contact, and the Stoat Yasna is then understood with ease by the Disciples. The above mentioned explanation is done with a purpose for clear understanding and the true meaning of Manthra. In Khordeh Avesta Manthra and other prayers, Aderbad Marespand Saheb had added as per Stoat Yasna Farsi language which was known as Pazend, composed and introduced the required Mithras along with the Manthras. In Farsi Language "Zend Avesta" means the inner core meaning of Avesta is also called as Pa-zend prayers. In Avesta there are such layers of hidden meanings embedded.
Humatemmanao, Hukhatem Vachao, Havarestem Shyothanao translated means your thoughts should be as per Humata, your speech should be as per Hukhata, your deeds should be as per Havarshta. In nature, the ideal thoughts, words, deeds are as per Humata, Hukhata, Havarshta of Yazada which leads to Omnipotent Dadar AhuraMazda. Our Manashni, Gavashni, and Kunashni should be as per Humata, Hukhata, Havarshta. If we refer to a common Pazend para found in beginning of any Niyaesh, Yashta or Sarosh baaj in Avesta prayers. That common Para is Patet prayers in pazend. A Bastekustian Zarathosti commits sins knowingly unknowingly and that is why this small Patet is recited by us in all our prayers in the very beginning only, and later on the main prayers in Avesta follows. Such composition is done by Aderbad Marespand saheb knowing fully well the Keshash of souls to be reincarnated during his Dastoori. These Pazend para is also Manthra only of "Baeshaza" type remedial measures for us. Why are they Manthra and too of Baeshaza form ????. Aderbad Marespand Saheb when he composed prayers as per Stoat Yasna had to performed special "Amal"
which we todays Parsees are ignorant of exalted status of Raindar Aderbad Marespand Saheb. With that "Amal" he performed the much needed miracle known as "Nirang-Vaar" so very necessary to challenge the Armenian Christians of the greatness of Zarathosti Deen in nature. Our Rainidar Saheb challenged the Christians to perform Nirang-Vaar that he performed by pouring burning Molten lead in liquid state on his bare chest with his Sudreh Kusti intact and that is no small a miracle which no Christian individual could perform than. Even a few drops of Molten lead are enough to burn a man to cinders. The Nirang-Vaar that he performed was enough to knock sense in inflated Egos of those Christians that what was in Zoroastrian religion could not be found in their religion and thus frustrated their efforts of mocking and Proselytizing Zoroastrians by leading them astray.
Such was the exalted nature of Rainidar Aderbad Marespand Saheb in whose Rainidari we are breathing. His newly composed Avesta Manthras and its Talismanic elemental forces are ever present in todays Paavmahal. He thus revitalized the dying faith of Zarathostis and recomposed main Avesta Manthras with pazend prayers entwined in between them and repaired our Deen made suitable for the types of souls likely to reincarnate in future also. Having undergone Big Amaal he with its use also introduced store house of vibratory elemental forces of Manthras. All Manthras have behind them unseen elemental forces of store houses known as "Gubaar". The Gubaar of Yatha, Ashem and Yengeh Hatam prayers are ever present in all times. The talismanic Gubbars of main 21 Nasks which Paimgabar saheb himself composed are ever present, The Gubaar of Manthra Spenta which were composed by his Havishta or Paigambar saheb's Disciples are also present. So also the Gubaars of Aderbad Marespand saheb and his composed Manthras store house (tank) are ever present. These Gubaars are like Tanks and ever present in nature. Just as you open a tap and water flows from the Tanks, similarly even today if we along with thoughts full of piety pray Avesta-Pazend Manthra than we can reap the benefits from Talismanic Gubaars i.e. store house or tank full of Minoi Manthric Ashirwad blessings. Zarathosti Deen is made up of Manthra, Mithra, and Yasna. Mithra does not mean just a thought but it is sure and a definate remedy in Mithra or Gubaar of tank full of thought that is ever present in nature. These blessings from Gubaar gets activated when we pray those Manthras as given by Aderbad Marespand Saheb and travels to earth using rays of Sun or Khurshed Yazad as medium towards its required destination that is from where those Manthras has originated. The selfless wish of the devotee who prays those Manthras gets fulfilled thus. That is the true meaning of Mithra. What exactly is Manthra ?? Today whatever we speak in words we will be able to see it as a "Kerdar" or elemental that we have produced in our life time on earth. But all that, we will be able to see only on Charum Bamdad that is on fourth day of our corporal death at the dawn of Hoshbam and not before that in our earthly life existence. Where as Gubaars of Manthra all it requires is activation by us by reciting Manthras with righteous piety. For example the Yatha, Ashem, and Yengeh Hatam have got its own fields and Ahunavar Naad that is all encompased in earthly environement gets activated once it is recited and the devotee who prays Yatha with his wish or Mithra receives blessings from its Channels. That is why these Manthras are called as "Garobish Stoatam" literally meaning a pot full of Stoat. This Pot or "Garo" full of stoat have Naad in it meant for special purpose. For example if we pass a bad thought in our mind to stop that going any further we pray Ashem Vohu, after a sneeze we pray on ashem vohu, if we want to sit on a new place we clean it first and pray one Yatha before sitting on it. So all those benefits we get from Garobish Stoatam automatically. Our forefathers lead a life in such disciplined manner, where as we have today become totally Dravand. Jehangirji's father never used to sit on a place without praying yatha kalaam. This is the kind of Tarikaats we all have to imbibe in our psyche and teach to our younger generation and than let us see how their faith shines and increases day by day. With such strong faith and "Iman" in their hearts even a hundred Ashmogs who try to rob us of our faith with their poison will remain unsuccessful in their hundredth attempt.
Similar Gubaar is present of Patet Pashemani prayers. Patet Pashemani means we repent for whatever Sins knowingly or unknowingly done by us and its Talesam will suck dry the very seeds of Sins lying dormant but ever ready to strike in our body like a Cobra in waiting to strike its prey. There is a technical term mentioned in our Zarathusti Deen known as "Das Andaarz" ( Ten Commandments) and "Azidehaak" ( Ten Serpent Vices) which can explain or cover whole chapter of Moral Science or "Neeti Shastra". Today there is loose talks about Ethics without trying to understand its true inner meaning. Some ignorant few spreads their ignorance by saying that all Ethics are mentioned in Gathas by our Paigambar saheb. In Gathas it is mentioned clearly "Yasna Amaretatem" which means through Yasna it liberates us from Birth Cycles and thus makes us immortal or Amar, where as those ignorant try to spread poison deriding Yasna or Kriyakaam as mere show or empty shell. Gathas also mention Arejush Patho which has Tarikaatmarg or the path of Tarikaat to be followed by us, and ignorant few spread lies that Tarikaat Marg is nothing else but Tarkat or useless. The Fatwa passed by Dr Dhalla of Karachi spreads poison that Iranians were afraid of blood hence they followed custom of segregating their women folks during menses. With such poison being spread in our community today the Faith and Iman of Zarathostis have been shredded asunder to pieces. Today youngsters of marriageable age complain to Jehangirji that they wish to marry a girl who follows the Tarikaat of segregation during menses but non of them perform this subtle Tarikaat nowadays, and they laugh it off saying that we as community so highly educated should consider all these as some sort of superstition not worthy to follow. Such is materialistic times we are living in which has been originated from the times of Aristotle the Greek Philosopher. The writings of "Arastu" are called as "Samiat-e- Arestatalis" by Pehelvi authors of Iran. Samiat meaning Poison of Aristotle. Such poison has started right from the times classics works were written by Aristotle and was later on picked up further by invention of Hydrogen and Atom Bomb which today’s world consider that Science as Epitome of knowledge.
Zarathosti Deen is composed of Triad that is Mithra, Manthra, Yasna. Obesrve tarikaats as much as you can, and with full faith, and with descretion without making a show of it to others. The practice of Tarikaats is not to be advertised to the critics as it is not worth showing to todays materialistic age our own practice. Nevertheless today we are surrounded by Druji everywhere. In Vendidad different Cantagions or Drujis are mentioned. They are known as 1) "Hamrit" or Direct contagion , 2) "Patrit" or Indirect Contagion, and 3) "Uprit" or Contagion of the Air. We are supposed to make oursleves and our houses as Druj Proof no matter if our profession is that of a Doctor, and we do surgeries coming in contact with different Drujis. Whatever may be our profession we are supposed to fulfil our Karma first and side by side practice Tarikaats of "Druj-Parhej". Jehangirji Chiniwalla cited a living example in his lecture by quoting that Dr. Saheb Edulji Koyaji of Pune may Garothman Behest blessings be upon him, he used to practice these Tarikaats without allowing anybody around him to know about it. He used to wear a set of clothes and go out and after comng home in afternoon remove that set of clothes and wear other set of clothes. In his younger days he used to wash his body with a utensil and than only sit for lunch. In evening used to go to clinic, Hospital for visit and come back in night and again rinse his body with water, and sit to pray Manthra Avestavani and than retire for the day with a good night sleep. This is what faith is all about also called as "Zarzadaiti". If one has taken upon himself to do a certain thing than that is done with full dedication and full faith. Jehangirji Chiniwalla further said in his lecture that he does not feel like giving moral lessons to anybody but he was merely spreading knowledge repeating the correct kind of life we are supposed to follow as per our religion. He considered himself to be a Behdin and a Mazdayasni Zarathosti Darvand. He further emphasized the importance of observing Tarikaats and to fortify faith for doing it. Even whilst sitting on Flush Toilets we have to pass Mithra as "Vanah Sekashtey Saad hazar Baad" meaning that i regret for the sin (Gunah, or Vanah) thousand times ( saad hazar baad) i am commiting by contaminating water with my waste fecal matter( Please refer to Baaj to be recited before and after going to toilet). This sin i commit because of my bad Keshash and pray that God grant me in my next life better position for me to observe all Zarathosti tarikaats religiously. Come out of toilet wash your exposed parts and do Padyab Kusti. This much spiritual excercise we have to follow to bind our thoughts with truth and sincerity. Today one does not realize the folly of speaking lies at the drop of a hat, or do back biting, gossip and pass off negative comments for other, we have to remain aloof from such negative practices by any cost as it is considered sinful.
In Sarosh Baaj para starting with "Panameh yazdan..............pa papet hom." This para suggests that today’s times we are living in is such that we have to run our thoughts Mithra continuously in that direction of above mentioned para of Patet, day in and day out. Jehangirji suggested in his lecture to the audience that we can take Kangaji translation of Patet Pashemani and daily try to read its translation and for further understanding and its Tavil refer to Dr Saheb's Faramroze Chiniwalla's translations in his book "Khordeh Avesta Ba Khshnoom Tavil" and try to decipher each Kardo of Patet Pashemani to youngsters. Today we claim that there are several schools giving religious knowledge but none of them lay stress on "Neeti-Shastra" or Moral science as is stressed in our Zarathosti Deen. Dus Andarz or Ten Commandments consists of Tarikaat Marg and is basic theme of it, and to bind ten shortfalls of our physical body or faults of flesh in form of serpent sitting ready to strike at will without warning us is also known as "Azidahak". Patet Pahemani prayers is instrumental in developing that Mithra in our psyche. Patet pashemani prayers Kardo 6th and 7th are very descriptive and suggestive of Mithra of Patet. The translation and gist of Kardo 6 and 7 in Patet goes as under:- Whatever i was supposed to do i did not do it, and whatever i was supposed to remain aloof from i have done it, and have committed sins for which i regret and repent for it. These two Paras are a very powerful storehouse of Mithra and Mathra which we can memorize in our mind. The above mentioned is considered as true Neeti Shastra. If we develop such thinking in our mind than our mind will be in peace and a calmed down state of mind will be ever present. Passions will automatically subside and its seeds within our body will dry up. If we realize that some coward is back biting behind our back than instead of getting agitated in our mind and being vengeful a sort of calm will settle down in our mind and we will in fact think for the betterment of that person like Lord Jesus Christ thought in compassionate way and as mentioned in Bible that "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". Such is usefulness of Patet Pashemani and is such a precious and important prayers for us. After Kusti Padyab if we pray Patet Pashemani prayers than from the Gubaar or store house of Manthra built by Aderbaad Marespand we will surely receive the benefits and blessings.
